ふきゅうという言葉。
漢字にすると不朽（いつまでも朽ちない）、普及（広く一般にいきわたる）、腐朽（腐って崩れていたむ）、不急（急いでする必要がない）、不休（休まないで活動する）等色々な意味があります。
埼玉県の嵐山町で森の管理をやっている友人Kが「腐朽ベンチを考えたんで一緒に普及しましょう!」って言ってきました。林業を維持する為に、あえて防腐処理をせずに、バイオ乾燥で仕上げられた90角の角材を使用したベンチです。

地元で採れた木材へ屋外環境に耐えられるよう、防腐・防蟻処理を施す。それが『ヤポネシアンウッド』。
地域の重要な資源である「木」を使い、循環する健康な「自然」を育む。地元産材で作る景観資材で木材の地産地消を応援します。

処理後に含水率が増加し、寸法変化が起きるため、十分な乾燥時間が必要です。
また銅を含んでいるため、淡い緑色を帯びた状態で仕上がります。
